This plant will make you feel like you are swaying in the warm breeze with minimal maintenance. This indoor low light and beginner-friendly beauty, the Ponytail Palm, known by the botanical name Beaucarnea guatemalensis is a beauty to add to your tropical plant assortment.
Available in the following packaging based on your preference:
- Nursery 6" - Standard plastic 6-inch planter pot that can be placed inside a larger pot or left as is until it outgrows it.
- Selene Planter - Porcelain 6-inch pot ceramic marble planter with drainage hole and matching rose gold ceramic tray. The planter measures: 7.5" x 6.5" x 6.5" and weighs approximately 3.7 lbs. We recommend placing your plant inside the nursery pot to make it easy to water and transplant.

Our plants are shipped from our indoor greenhouse in South Florida. Please note all our plants are one of a kind and if you want to message us we can send you a picture of the exact one you will receive. All our plants ship exclusively with UPS to ensure they arrive timely and in good condition. We ship most of our plants Mondays & Tuesdays to most of the USA to ensure they arrive speedy to your location. If you order on a Tuesday after 12 PM ET it is possible that we would not ship it till the following Monday.
We monitior the weather in each destination location to maximize the shipping time and utilize thermal protection to ensure that the plant is protected. You can add a heatpack or thermal bag to your order if temperatures at night fall below 40 degrees.

Wow, Wow, Wow where do I begin? The plant is absolutely fabulous, not only is it huge, it’s super cute! The packaging was really incredible. Wanda did such a fantastic job packaging up the Ponytail palm, there was not even a speck of soil in the box. It was wrapped in so many layers, from paper towels, to tissue paper, to heavy duty plastic sleeve, and a heavy duty brown wrapping paper. more bubble wrap! I could go on but you get the idea! If it took Wanda half as long to pack the plant as it took me to unpack it! Respect and thank you for the goodie’s that was very thoughtful and I do appreciated it. I can’t say enough good things about this vendor and the care they take with their plants. If I could give you more than 5 stars I would you deserve it!!
EDIT
I have gotten a terrible case of Poison Ivy. That could only have come from the Ponytail Palm who’s leaves I diligently cleaned last night. Now I’m itching, have a rash all over my body. So be careful that Urushiol oil is viscous!!!
