Air Plant Bulbosa Tillandsia

T. Bulbosa 'Belize' or 'Guatemala' Air Plant is an easy to grow and care for houseplant and it does not need soil. It absorbs nutrients and water from the air through scales on its leaves. It does not need much light to thrive. This one has a bulb-like bottom and grows new ones from the existing one that you can keep together or separate into multiples.
Don’t put it in an enclosed terrarium as it needs air. It is epiphytic, which means it grows on other plants, not in the ground. No soil or dirt. You can put it in creative places. Place one in a shallow bowl or vase filled with rocks or sand, place one in a tiny container with a magnet and put it on the fridge, or tie it to driftwood with a translucent fishing line. There are 2 versions of this one, a small and a large. The small measures 0.5 - 1 inch wide and up to 6 inch long and large 1.5 - 2 inch long and about 8-10 inches. It does have roots and a bit of an unwieldy growth habit (which is why we love them so much) so those may vary as each is unique.

All our plants ship exclusively with UPS to ensure they arrive timely and in good condition. We ship most of our plants Mondays & Tuesdays to most of the USA to ensure they arrive speedy to your location. If you order on a Tuesday after 12 PM ET it is possible that we would not ship it till the following Monday.
We monitior the weather in each destination location to maximize the shipping time and utilize thermal protection to ensure that the plant is protected. You can add a heatpack or thermal bag to your order if temperatures at night fall below 40 degrees.
