Calathea Rosy Pink Prayer Plant
This one has sold out so many times, maybe it's those perfect Crimson leaves. . This Calathea Roseopicta 'Rosy' (sometimes spelled Rosie or Rosey) adds color to any houseplant collection with gorgeous bright pink magenta leaves and contrasting edges that are deeper.
New leaves start light pink with a green tint and deepen as they mature. If this plant doesn't get sufficient humidity, its edges will start to brown a bit; although it will be perfectly healthy, that damage is irreversible. Regular misting helps keep that issue at bay. Calathea's are one of our most loved plants; they are known as the Prayer Plants and are a bit temperamental, needing the right mixture of humidity and indirect lighting
Available in the following packaging based on your preference:
- Nursery Pot - Standard plastic 6-inch planter pot that can be placed inside a larger pot or left as is until it outgrows it.
- Selene Planter - Ceramic 6.5" Marble Planter with drainage hole and matching rose gold ceramic tray. The planter measures: 7.5" x 6.5" x 6.5" and weighs approximately 3.7 lbs. We recommend placing your plant inside the nursery pot to make it easy to water and transplant.
